This piece originates as a painting study by artist and designer KUJ, later translated into a garment. What began on canvas is reworked into form—texture, gesture, and process carried directly into denim.

Constructed from 100% cotton denim, the skirt retains the raw logic of a study rather than a finished product. A two-button closure allows for controlled adjustment, while raw hems and overlock side seams are intentionally exposed, preserving the evidence of construction and transformation from artwork to clothing.
